Headshot (2)_edited_edited.jpg

Dr Huang studied medical science and counselling prior

to pursuing medicine, after which she specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.

She underwent further advanced surgical training, including minimally invasive surgery and major
collaborative surgery involving gynaecological cancer patients at the Royal North Shore Hospital in
Sydney and John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.

She has vast experience as a O&G specialist in metropolitan, rural and remote hospitals across Australia and New Zealand.

She is passionate about providing patient-centred care, with a focus on communication, patience, honesty and kindness as core values within her practice.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, scuba diving, and spending time with her dogs. She is passionate about animals and marine life and is an amateur underwater photographer (but still confused by shutter speed and aperture). She aims to become a professional dog groomer and run a doggy day care when she retires.

Dr Huang has Taiwanese parentage, can speak Mandarin fluently, and has a good understanding
of the Hokkien dialect.
